2024 Writing Contest

Submission Period: October 1 - November 28, 2024

After a record number of submissions in 2023, we are excited to announce the return of the annual Calmar Public Library's Writing Contest!

The writing contest is open to residents of Calmar, Leduc, Devon, Millet, Thorsby, Warburg, and surrounding Leduc County communities. Participants are welcome to submit one entry per category. Both submission categories are open theme (which means you can write about anything!), but they must be your original work and not previously published—either in physical print or online (including personal blogs, forums, social media, etc.). Submissions created with the use or assistance of AI programs will not be accepted.
